I'd heard about the 4400 Reboot maybe a year ago, but it wasn't until I read this article earlier this year that I knew it was a sure thing.
The first episode aired earlier this week, and while it wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, I've got high hopes if only because I love the original series so much, and I look forward to the reboot covering some of the same ground. To me, the core of the original series is gradual exposition and discovering new mysteries each time big questions are answered.
Black actors make up a large portion of the cast, and it's looking like covering the black American experience is going to be a significant plot element.
I've only seen one episode, so I can't yet say whether the show will end up being any good, but I've got high hopes.
