I've just bought a new computer from a company called CyberPower - it should get here in under 2 weeks. Look at these specs...
- Motherboard: MSI RS480M2IL ATI Radeon Xpress200 Chipset SATA PCIE
- AMD ATHLON64 3500+ CPU w/ HyperTransport
- 2048 MB (1GBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY
- ATI RADEON X700 256MB 16X PCI EXPRESS Graphics Card
- SONY DWD26A DUAL FORMAT 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER
- COMBO DRIVE (16X DVD-ROM & 52x32x52 CD-RW)
- Two 7200 RPM hard drives: 160GB, 80GB
- Creative Labs SB Audigy-2 ZS 7.1
- INTERNAL 6in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer
There are a number of games I've been wanting to play that won't run on my 1.4GB Pentium Dell - I guess 256MB of memory and my old GEForce4 MX440 aren't cutting it. I'm hoping that the 2 Gig of memory and 64 bit processor hold me over for more than the 4 years I've had the Dell I'm using right now.
