It's been a while since I had a mp3 Friday. I used to do it a lot more before I worked in a place that frowned on listening to music over the internet. Now I've got to bring in CDs and music on a USB keychain drive. But here are a few mp3 links of tunes you might enjoy listening to today.
- I'm Your Moon, by Jonathan Coulton, which is about Pluto losing its status as a planet. I've had this one stuck in my head all day.
- Paperback Believer, a nice mashup of The Monkees and The Beatles from Go Home Productions.
- New York City, by Cub, via Love Has No Logic.
- Magic Lights, by Wimshurst's Machine. Click the link to download the mp3.
- Gimme Mo', from Amanda D.'s MySpace music page. Haven't listened to her in a while, but I love this song.
- You're Pitiful, by Weird Al (a spoof on You're Beautiful)
- Punk Rock Girl, by the Dead Milkmen - live version. Via The Smudge of Ashen Fluff.
- And lastly, a cool slow cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence, by Susanna and the Magical Orchestra, via Copy Comma Right.
