A passing thought on a Friday - I watched Back to the Future 2 this week, as you too should have on 10/21/2015. And it occurred to me that in the eighties, it was common for songs to be written for a movie which became popular music on the radio. Not just Huey Lewis and "Back in Time" on the Back to the Future soundtrack. Think about Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters song or the entire soundtrack for Highlander. I'm sure you can think of more, but this is my 60 second musing for today.
