When I heard recently that my brother was considering a job as a car salesman, a fantastic article I'd read a few years ago came to mind. A few minutes googling, and I'd found it.
Confessions of a Car Salesman is an article written by Chandler Phillips for Edmunds.com. The site had him work undercover for three months as a car salesman. He first worked at a high-volume, high-pressure store, then a no-haggle dealership. His article is a great insight into the car sales business. It's geared towards consumers, but I'm going to make Sean read it before he applies for the job - maybe he'll change his mind, and maybe it will make him want to do it even more. Information is never bad.
