Good Television

So finally the holiday break is over, and they're picking up with three of my favorite shows. Unfortunately, I still have to wait for The 4400, but there are a few good ones starting within the next week.

Battlestar Galactica picks up from their long midseason break this Friday the 6th with Resurrection Ship, Part 1, and we get to see Adama face off with Admiral Cain in one of the saddest friend-versus-friend conflicts in Sci Fi history. I mean, when the entire population of the human race can be counted in thousands, people killing people is just a bad idea.

Lost picks up again next week on the 11th, and we get a special recap episode before the new show picks up. From what I hear on The Transmission, I think we'll finally learn about Mister Eko's background.

Lastly, a new season of 24 starts on the 15th. I've seen every season except season two, and I'm thinking it's time for the writers to kill off Jack Bauer before the show jumps the shark. It wouldn't suprise me at all to see just that happen. Of course, the show is exceptionally good at suprising me.

All of those shows are watched in our house. I'm not a fan of BG, but I like the others.

Ryan wants to know if you saw BG Season 2.0.

No, that's not what I asked her to ask. I wanted her to ask if by any chance you had Battlestar Galactica Season 2.0 on DVD? I have only seen Season 1 and none of Season 2....so I'm 10 episodes behind....and I can't find a Blockbuster in town that has it for rent....

Thankfully I can just keep Friday's episode on the TiVo until I get caught up.

Unfortunately, I don't have any BSG recorded except for the 2 hour pilot. And I'm willing to bet the BSG Season 2 DVD won't come out until after the season finishes. I'd try BitTorrent - that's how Linda and I caught up on Lost during the first season.

I was wrong. As I now suppose you already know, they've got the first half of season 2 out on DVD, billed as "Season 2.0"

I can't believe you missed out on '24' season two. It's probably the best one after the first.
