I Do Not Sell My Lil Reminder!

January 24, 2007 - -

If you just googled "My Lil Reminder" and ended up here, please do not email me complaining that you haven't yet received it or that it is a piece of crap. I believe you. I'm not the guy who sells these things!

Last week, I wrote about the stupid My Lil Reminder commercial, and I would have never imagined the response I got. You can tell just by looking at the comments that people apparently don't understand that this is a personal blog and not a corporate website. I've also gotten a number of emails via my contact form. It's starting to become quite the joke.

"i see there has been a lot of problems with this company and u all need to get your act together." Thanks, Eileen.

It seems like the product is a piece of crap, and the sales process is a total scam, as you can find by checking teh intarwebs.

If you're looking for someone to complain to, here's the address someone posted in the comments, which I have not verified.

I blame AOL for letting them on the Internets.

Oh, Greg... I still haven't gotten my "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" game I ordered from Amazon on the 15th. Do you know anything about it?

Dear Sir,

I ordered My Lil Reminder weeks ago and still have not received it. This is of particular concern to me as I've been in this goddamned parking lot for all of this time looking for my car. Please ship me your product quickly so that I might find my car and finally get home.

Sincerely,

Brandon

(I think this was said when some fan or other was pissing and moaning because Ellison doesn't use email)

"Why do people keep insisting that I join the 21st Century? I *LIVE* in the 21st Century! I just don't want to be bothered by the shitheads on the internet!"

-- Harlan Ellison

Now, Greg, you know what he means!
