The IPCC today released a 21-page report strongly linking humans to climate change and global warming. The IPCC was formed in 1988 to study climate change information from around the world and produce a balanced reporting of existing viewpoints on the causes of global warming.
My thinking on the subject has gone back and forth a number of times as I've read different things - I try to keep an open mind. But recently, I've begun to see the arguments against global warming more and more as the 1950s arguments against the fact that smoking causes health problems. Those were promoted by the tobacco industry, and the only reports that come out today that don't support the IPCC's take on global warming are those funded by big oil.
You can read the articles on CNN, BBC, and even Fox News, although when search for the Fox News link, I found it difficult to find the link to the actual news story and instead stumbled into an op-ed article which at first I took for their actual news story.
You can read the actual report in pdf form here.
