I've never been a Joss Whedon fan, but I absolutely loved Dr. Horrible when I saw it. This is when Felicia Day first appeared on my radar. At first, I hadn't visited her site, nor had I yet followed her on Twitter. Her role in Dr. Horrible, while well-played, was merely as a support character, and so she skipped past my notice. But over the course of ComicCon and PAX, I started hearing more about her. So I checked out her site, and as a web designer I love it. I was further intrigued to hear that she's also a gamer, and I eventually stumbled across The Guild.
Felicia Day writes and produces The Guild, a web show about a group of World of Warcraft players. They've all got issues, playing to the stereotypes about MMO addicts. One shamefully neglects her children, another is a middle-aged unemployed penny-pincher and lives in a house he inherited from parents, another is a cyberstalker. It's pretty funny if you're familiar with the niche.
Also, Felicia Day ftw.
